A fee-only financial advisor can receive compensation only from client fees, not from anything we recommend our clients to buy. Our loyalty is to you alone, and our success entirely depends on our demonstrable, transparent results in protecting and growing your assets.
A fee-based “advisor” refers to a stock broker or registered representative who may be compensated by asset management fees and/or the products he or she sells, for example, annuities. Therefore, a “fee-based” advisor is someone who potentially receives fees both from clients and from the trading itself. Some of these fees are clearly disclosed, but many are hard to spot.
As a fee-only Investment Advisor registered with the SEC and with staff holding the designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER TM (CFP®), Regent Wealth Management Group has a responsibility to choose investments solely on the basis of the best interests of our clients. We are subject to standards outlined in the Code of Ethics requirement by the SEC and the code of conduct from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc.
